Outcomes Report 2025

At Trauma Informed Parenting (TIP), we are deeply committed to empowering parents, caregivers, and professionals with the knowledge, empathy, and tools required to nurture trauma‑informed, compassionate environments for children.

Our 2025 Outcomes Report illustrates the real-world continued impact of our workshops and support programmes with clear, measurable gains:

  • Increased Self‑awareness and understanding: 97% of participants reported increased self‑awareness after participating in TIP training.

  • Emotional relief and acceptance: 96 % of participants experienced relief in understanding generational trauma and letting go of guilt or blame.

  • Parents feel more hopeful & confident: 92 % of respondents felt more confident in their parenting role

  • Emotional regulation: 95 % of caregivers said they were better able to regulate their emotional responses.

  • More co-regulation: 95% Parents felt able to co-regulate with their child.

  • Motivation to apply trauma‑informed practices: 95 % of participants said they were inclined to put into practice what they had learned.

  • Improved parent–child relationships: 43 % of participants observed improvements in their relationships with their child.

  • Better household mental health: 71% of participants noted improvements in overall mental wellbeing in their homes.

  • Improvements in child behaviour: 49 % of caregivers saw some level of positive change in their child’s behaviour.

  • Reduction in crisis support needs: 42 % of families reported needing less crisis intervention after engaging with TIP.

The findings and evidence presented in this report were collected through feedback surveys conducted with 200 participants who had applied the trauma-informed approach and observed its effects for a minimum of four weeks. These surveys were conducted throughout 2025. 

Our 2025 outcomes show results very similar to 2024 demonstrating consistent impact across our work. Both parents and professionals continue to experience high levels of benefit from the trauma-informed parenting workshops and resources, with the majority reporting increased confidence, skills, and practical strategies for supporting children who have experienced trauma or are neurodivergent.
